Paulo is the founding partner of Padis Advogados. With more than 20 years of experience, he has built his career at some of the most prestigious law firms in Brazil and was one of the founding partners of Stocche Forbes Padis Filizzola Advogados in 2012.
His practice focuses on transactions classified as special situations, with a strong emphasis on advising lenders, creditors, and bondholders in restructuring proceedings, mergers and acquisitions involving distressed assets, and the structuring of non-bank financings, particularly involving credit funds and hedge funds. Throughout his career, he has been involved in some of the most significant and complex restructuring cases in Brazil, handling transactions of substantial legal and financial sophistication.
Paulo is recognized by Chambers and Partners as one of the leading Brazilian lawyers in Project Finance and Restructuring, standing out for his combination of strategic vision, deep technical expertise, and experience in highly complex transactions.
